Songkram Empire
Born from a schism in the Ganpoumi Fi leadership following the Holy Pact of the East, the Songkram believed that mankind alone should be allowed to decide who they fight for as opposed to being obligated to fight individuals that extradimensional entities deemed the enemy. The founders of the Songkram saw the Ganpoumi Fi as pathetic in their compliance with the Angels, and that this holy pact was made in weakness--only the Songkram had the strength to rule the Eastern Provinces properly.

Several members of the council have gotten the idea that signing this deal with the Angels was a bad idea. The idea of being forced to participate in a supernatural war if another arose was a "violation of their freedom". After bickering and a small brawl, certain members of the Ganpoumi Fi council were expelled from it, among them Lord Koh of Mah Mur province. Lord Koh and the other councilmen who sided with him gathered their followers and departed.
Lord Koh was instructed to find a successor to serve as the Lord of Mah Mur within the month. Failing to do so, the rest of the council would appoint one in his stead. ^96bdb4
After building up their forces, the Songkram marched upon the Ganpoumi Fi's capital in 265 DHT, crushing the former government while assimilating their forces and infrastructure. A wide-scale re-education followed shortly after in an attempt to erase the Ganpoumi Fi from history.
